The new TetraGraph provides TOF monitoring for NMB.
The TetraGraph allows physicians to monitor the effects of neuromuscular blocking agents perioperatively. The TetraGraph neuromuscular monitor is a unique system designed to address the needs of perioperative monitoring of the depth of muscle relaxation using neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBs). The TetraGraph stimulates a peripheral nerve and measures, analyzes and displays the muscle function in surgical patients who receive NMBAs as part of their general anesthetic.
The TetraGraph is a unique electromyography (EMG) based portable device for quantitative (objective) monitoring of neuromuscular function. It is a precise and easy to use tool for monitoring depth of block, ensuring adequacy of muscle function, and aiding the clinician to reduce the incidence of residual block.
The device is suitable for use in all types of surgeries including cardiac, neuro, laparoscopic, robotic, bariatric etc. However, the device is not suitable for use in MR environments.
Features of the TGS01 system include:
- Device is a stand-alone, battery operated unit;
- No calibration is needed, the unit is ready to use within 30 seconds of power-up;
- Data can be transferred via USB cable
