A large selection of mobile screens are manufactured with panoramic (full width) windows or standard smaller windows. White or light grey plastic laminate finishes are available from stock. These screens are particularly useful in departments where space may be an issue.
A wide range of other colours are available to special order. The enamelled legs fitted with easy running anti-static castors provide excellent stability.

When a lower degree of protection is required the mobile screen (shown left) is ideal. The solid base has a code 3 (1.32mm Pb) lead core with the top section made from lead acrylic (0.50mm Pb) equivalent.
The use of this material enabled the introduction of a cut-out to allow contact with the patient for positioning or the introduction of catheters.
Flexiled strips with 0.50mm Pb equivalent have been fitted to the aperture.
Quotations based on this or similar designs are available on request.
Variations on the standard range of our protective screens provide radiation barriers combined with a workstation for Accident Departments, Intensive Care and Coronary Units.
Three styles and sizes are illustrated and give a true indication of our ability to meet specific customer requirements.
Screens are available with or without lead glass windows and may also be fitted with Vistamatic™ shutters.
Dry wipe white boards, shelves, cupboards and other storage facilities are manufactured to meet individual needs.
The lead thickness required should be established in consultation with your local Radiation Protection Advisor (RPA).
However, the overall weight and manoeuvrability must also be carefully considered.
Wardray Premise Flexible Screens are available in 0.50mm and 1.00mm Pb equivalent. The panels can be finished in any of the standard Ultraflex® colours.
Panels are 600mm high x 600mm wide and the steel frame to support a single panel, fitted with good quality castors, allows a height adjustment of 750mm to 1200mm from the top edge.
The simple introduction of a second supporting bar converts the frame to take a second panel below.
