X-ray chair

Following a request from Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, we designed and manufactured an x-ray chair, for the screening of scoliosis patients. This chair is now being successfully used in several hospitals across the UK.

The x-ray chair incorporates a cassette slot under the seat to accommodate a 14” x 14” cassette.

The backrest has three belts and side rails attached allowing the fitting of a harness that can be moved up and down the rails to support the patient.

Two drop down armrests allow side way transfer of patients.

The seat can be raised and lowered between 750mm and 1050mm by use of an electric column.
